Dilution control – is it worth it?
Dilution control systems, such as the Multi-Task System, can significantly reduce cleaning time, decrease cleaning cost, and are easy to use. In absence of chemical dispensers, end users would have to manually dilute chemicals, which is typically an inaccurate process and can become very costly over time. Manual dilutions can also be a hazardous procedure and may require additional personal protective equipment.
If the facility, or janitors closet, cannot facilitate a wall-mounted dispenser, portable proportioners such as the Easy-Fill Gun, are available. Portable proportioners work the same way as wall-mounted dispensers do; they both simply require a water source to hook up to. Each multi-task bottle, which are used with the above systems, contain a metering tip. Because the metering tip is located inside the bottles with the product, there is no need to change any components in the system when switching between different products to try to achieve the correct dilution ratio. This also guarantees a new metering tip every time a new bottle is used.
A dilution control system should be incorporated into every cleaning program. These systems are easy to use, are safer, and it eliminates the guesswork when it comes to chemical mixing. Dilution control systems can also reduce cleaning and training costs. If the facility or area cannot facilitate a wall-mounted dispenser, portable proportioners are the best alternative.
