ATP Meter and Measuring Clean
If a surface looks clean, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s actually “clean”. The only way to know that a surface is truly “clean” is to test it. An adenosine triphosphate (ATP) monitoring kit is a powerful tool that can eliminate the guesswork.
ATP is found in all living organisms. If ATP is present on a surface, there is an indication of potential germs, bacteria, and other contaminants. Remember that not all germs and bacteria are harmful. After when a surface is swabbed, an ATP meter can usually produce results within 15 seconds or less depending on the model.
Not only can an ATP kit be used to measure and evaluate surfaces, it can also show prospects the efficiency of their current cleaning system. Showing a potential customer that a “clean” looking surface is, in fact, not clean at all, can be a big surprise and a big incentive to move towards your cleaning program.
